Patrick Frett, has his Masters of Science in Counseling Studies with an emphasis in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Individual Therapy. Patrick partners with you in helping you define strengths as a roadmap to overcome barriers. He focuses on using treatment methods that have been researched including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness strategies, to collaboratively work on goals defined by his clients.
He believes creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to share and work towards their goals is key to the therapeutic relationship. His approach is holistic focusing on mind, body, and heart. Possessing practical techniques in helping clients integrate lifestyle changes into their healing journey. Patrick find techniques of listening to the messages from the body promote well-being and balance.
Patrick’s experience of twenty-eight years as a Mental Health therapist has provided services for the adult and children population with experience in trauma, grief and bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, attachment problems, personality disorders and communication issues. Patrick views every individual as unique, which is reflected in his dedication to his therapeutic approach of incorporating the power of healing the mind, body, and soul successfully.
On a personal note, Patrick’s experience in the diverse culture of the entertainment industry provided him leisure time of fun, enjoyment, and laughter particularly in performing arts.
